Albert Eric “Bert” Guzzwell
Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, Bert Guzzwell, a long time Mason and Shriner, age 79 years. Predeceased by parents: Eric & Janet; brother: Crosbie. Leaving to mourn his wife: Pauline; son: John (Patricia), daughter: Diane (Jude); grandchildren: Eric & Emily; nephews: Robert & Steven; sister-in-law: Jackie; many other relatives & friends. Special thanks to the staff at 7 East, St. Clare`s for their care and compassion. Visitation at Barrett`s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 2pm-4pm & 7pm-9pm & Friday, May 11 from 2pm-4pm & 7pm-9pm. Funeral service to be held from Wesley United Church on Saturday, May 12 at 2pm. Inurnment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bert`s memory may be made to the Shriner`s Patient Travel Fund or Wesley Building for Generations Fund.
