Obituary for Mr. Alan St. Pierre
Passed peacefully with family by his side, at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie on Monday, December 24th, 2018 at the age of 77. Loving husband of Mary Margaret for 33 years. Honoured father of David, Michael and Christopher. Will be sadly missed by his sister Ann Summerton (Michael), brothers Paul (Marlene) and John (Erika), as well as his nieces, nephews and many long-time, dear friends and colleagues. Alan loved people and loved being a mentor. Through his enthusiasm and personal approach to sales, he demonstrated how to earn relationships and trust while establishing a successful career in the field of hydraulics. A private family service will be held at the Grace Anglican Church Cemetery in Sutton, Quebec at 1 pm on Saturday, May 25th, 2019, with a Celebration of Alan’s life to follow. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie. The family would like to take this opportunity extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff and volunteers at the RVRHC Palliative Care Unit and have requested that donations in Alan’s memory be directed to the same.
