Mr. John (Rick) O’Rourke
It is with profound sadness that the family of Mr. John (Rick) O’Rourke announce his sudden passing on Saturday December 29th, 2018, at his home at the age of 69 years. Cherished son of the late John and Dorothy O’Rourke. Beloved husband and best friend of Cherie (Jacques). Loving father of Lorrie O’Rourke and her partner Wayne of Chatham, Shelly Archbold and her husband Daniel of Decatur, Indiana, and John (Rick) and his wife Marlea O’Rourke of Chatham. Special grandpa of Ashley, and Justin O’Rourke (and partner Jaden St. Pierre), Christian Couture and his partner Allyson, Jessica Couture, John (Rick) O’Rourke, McCayla Archbold, and Dan Archbold, and special great grandpa of Addilyn O’Rourke. Dear brother of Gary and his wife Cheryl O’Rourke, and dear brother-in-law of Julie O’Rourke (the late Patrick). Rick was the Vice Chair for the CAW of Navistar. Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington West, Chatham, 519-352-2710 on Monday December 31st with visiting from 2 to 4 p.m. Cremation to follow with interment to take place at a later date.
