It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of David Nonay on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at the age of 72 years.
David will always be remembered by his loving, wife of 45 years, Wanda; five children, Michelle (Wade) Fraser, Melissa (Guy) Charrois, Jeff (Coralee) Nonay, Stephanie (Matthew) Kochtubajda, Sarah (Raymond) Guerette; thirteen grandchildren, Hannah, Kalyn, Aidan, Jade, Isabelle, Alec, Lily, Luke, Taylor, Jeremy, Josie, Hudson and Brayden; stepson, Bryan Rehbein; siblings, Richard (Betty), Lawrence, Irene (Bill), and Daniel (Debi); as well as numerous extended family and friends.
David was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Louise; and brothers, Jim, Ron and Ben.
The family wishes to give a special thank you to the staff at the Cross Cancer Institute and the University of Alberta Hospital Hepatology Unit for their care of David during his illness. As well, a special thank you to Father Anselmo Landoy for his visits and prayers.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 11:00AM at the Morinville Community Cultural Centre, 9502 100 Avenue, Morinville.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of David may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute or the University Hospital Foundation.
