James, Doreen (nee Bell)
Passed away peacefully in Pointe Claire, Quebec on Christmas morning 2018, 10 days shy of her 89th birthday. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Roy Norman James. Loving mother of Cindy (Keith). Devoted and cherished grandmother of Ashley and Tiffany. Dearest daughter of the late Gertrude (nee Fetterly) and Lloyd Bell. Predeceased by her sister Joan Stuart and brother Don Bell (Penny). Sister-in-law of the late Bert James (Eileen), late Merrill (Helen), late Homer (Iva), and Ruth Smith (Lowell). Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Our family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Le Cambridge Rose-Aimee floor for their exceptional care and kindness over the past year. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman s, 3440 Richmond Rd., Nepean, (between Bayshore & Baseline) on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 12 noon – 1 pm, followed by a service in the chapel at 1 pm. Burial at Pinecrest Cemetery. in Doreen’s memory may be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
