Anne M. McDuff, 87, of K. E. Spencer
Memorial Home and formerly of Waverley Avenue, passed away peacefully
at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, December 26,
2018.
Born in Indian Mountain, she was the
daughter of the late Lawrence and Clara (Anketell)
Urquhart.
Anne was a loving wife, mother,
grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She was a member of St.
Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church.
Anne will be sadly missed by her
husband of over 69 years, Edmond McDuff; daughter, Katherine Cormier
(John) of Moncton; sons, Lawrence “Larry” McDuff and Michael
McDuff, both of Moncton and Jason McDuff (Christa) of Irishtown;
grandchildren, Matthew, Angie and Ian; great grandchildren, Anthony,
Maria, Logan and Jaydon; sisters, Marjorie Loretta of Moncton and Edna
Cunningham of Montreal; several nieces, nephews and extended family
members.
In addition to her parents, she was
predeceased by sons, Daniel “Danny” and Anthony
“Tony”; granddaughter, Sarah; sisters, Jessie and Dorcas and
brother, Harley Urquhart.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home,
1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass to celebrate and honour Anne’s life will be
held from St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church, 340
Dominion St., Moncton on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 11:00 am with
Rev. Allison Carroll presiding. Reception in the Parish Hall following
Mass. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe, in
the spring.
