MARTIN, Erma L. (nee Swan)
At the Belleville General Hospital on Monday, December 24, 2018 in her 89 year. Beloved wife of Duane Martin for 66 years. Daughter of the late Gerald and Keitha Swan (Hall) and stepdaughter of the late Marion Swan. Mother of Gail Kenney (Donald) of Haliburton, Lois Martin of Mississauga, Lynn Simpson M.D. (Lynn) of Briarcliff Manor, N.Y., Joan Bruinsma (John) of Plainfield, Carol Strickland (Reverend Tim) of Milton and Sharon Forbes (Richard) of Markham. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Sister of Wilma Huffman (the late Carman) of Corbyville, Ralph Swan (Shirley) of Belleville, Muriel McGee (the late Milton) of Gloucester, Audrey Bulmer (Gordon) of Oshawa and Bruce Swan (the late Gloria) of Plainfield. Predeceased by sisters Wanda Clare (Ivan) of Stirling, Beryl Colby (Vernon) of Willowdale, Mona Ray (the late Jim) formerly of Belleville, Blanche Swan (Gary Boyle) of Toronto. Also survived by stepsisters Catherine Clarke (Ted) of Belleville, Colleen Gorman (Eric) of Nepean and Jean Tomaso (Arnprior). Visitation at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, Kingston on Friday, December 28 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, December 29 at 11 a.m. with Reverend Job van Hartingsveldt officiating. Reception to follow in the Reception Centre. If desired, donations can be made to the Belleville Wesleyan Church. Spring interment at Victoria Cemetery, RR#1, Plainfield, Ontario
