Obituary of Genevieve Kuntz
KUNTZ, Genevieve Anne
(née Kiene)
1929 – 2018
Our precious mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother has left us to be with our father. Jennie was predeceased by her loving husband Barney in 2002; and sister Viola McWhiter. She is survived by her daughter Sandra (Robert) Warner, granddaughter Kim; daughter Geraldine (Clarence) Sali, granddaughters, Karry, Lori, Jenna; son Allan (Debbie), granddaughters, Chea, Amanda, Amy; son Nelson (Lorie), grandsons, Dean, Gerald, Clayton; son Wayne (Dayna), granddaughter Shanda, and grandsons, Kyle and Adam; sister Grace Eisler. Jennie adored her thirteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. She grew up in Vibank, SK, married Barney and together they farmed there until 1974, when they then moved to Regina. Jennie loved to cook and have the family surrounding her for Sunday dinners. She was fantastic with a sewing machine and wore several of them out with the many quilts she made for her family and friends. Gardening was also a passion and this led to years of canning fruit and vegetables, which we all enjoyed. Jennie once said she’d be happy to die in the raspberry patch. The family would like to thank the Regina General Hospital, Pasqua Hospital, and the Raymore Silver Heights Special Care Home for the care she received during her final days. A celebration of Jennie’s life will be held at a later date.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Genevieve
