Fay Stabler Ranney December 8 2018

Ranney, Fay (nee Stabler) – Fay passed away peacefully at home with her husband and children by her side on December 8, 2018 at the age of 80 years.
A heart felt thanks to Dr. Wendy Graham whose compassion and support made this possible throughout Fay’s lengthy illness until the very end.
Fay was the beloved wife of 60 years to Richard Ranney. Loving mother of Glenda Scanlan (Denis), Garth (Caron) and Gavin (Carole) Ranney. She was a special grandma to Matthew (Lauren) and Allyson (Brad) Scanlan, Erin (Josh) and Kristin Ranney and great grandchildren Theodore and Maxwell Scanlan. Predeceased by her parents Marion and Adlor Leblanc.
Born in London England, Fay immigrated to Canada at a very young age with her mother. She later met Richard while both were employed at Bell Canada. Fay expressed her love for music as a longtime member of the Baytones. Fay’s interest in travel led her to employment in the travel industry as a travel agent. She travelled extensively over the years with her husband Richard, often taking their children with them, creating many fond memories.
As per Fay’s request there will be no visitation. A private family service has been held to honour her.
Donations to the North Bay Regional Health Center Foundation in memory of Fay Ranney will be gratefully acknowledged by her family.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Fay Stabler Ranney December 8 2018..
