OBITUARY
Glen Eugenio Cividin
December 30, 1937 – December 5, 2018
Glen passed away suddenly at home on December 5th 2018. He was a kind and gentle man who will be lovingly remembered by his wife Eveline, his children Louise (Tom), Theresa (Peter), Mark (Bennette) and grandchildren Harrison, Jared, Justin, Robert, Nolin, Sofia. He is also survived and mourned by extended family near and far. Glen was born in Trail, B.C. where he was an avid hockey player with the Trail Smoke Eaters Junior hockey team and started his pole vaulting career which took him to Notre Dame University in Indiana, USA on a track and field scholarship. He went on to compete in pole vaulting in the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff, Wales. After obtaining his Bachelor of Architecture from Notre Dame University, he started his career as an architect in Victoria, B.C. where he met Eveline. Glen was a member of the Architectural Institute of B.C. and worked as an architect in private practice before joining Public Work Canada until his retirement in 1998. His retirement years were spent enjoying his family and watching hockey. He was an audiophile and spent many hours restoring vintage electronics. As per Glen’s wishes there will be no service.
