Elizabeth Ann Collier
November 25, 1939 – August 25, 2018

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Elizabeth Ann Collier (nee Neil) announces her sudden passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Saturday, August 25th, 2018 at the age of 78 years. Born in La Poile, NL, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late William and Mary Neil (nee Taylor). She was also predeceased by her father and mother-in-law Samuel and Annie Collier (nee Smith); husband Wesley Samuel Collier in 2009; brother Wilson Neil; sister Mildred Rita Collier; brothers-in-law Albert Bungay, Ronald Collier, Sandy Collier, Howard Collier, John Billard; sisters-in-law Barbara Neil, Diane Currie, Joyce (Clarence) Brown, Edna (Ralph) Hardy, and Marjorie Collier.
She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her loving sons Greg Collier (Janice Ryan) of Deer Lake, NL, Darrell (Destini) Collier of Grand Prairie, AB; grandchildren Dion Collier, Kaitlyn Collier, Graham Collier, Hudson Collier; sister Louise Bungay, brother, John Neil (Ruby Feltham) both of Port aux Basques, NL; brother Sam (Gerrie) Currie of Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON; brother-in-law Gerald Collier; sisters-in-law Loretta (Leander) Gillard, Marjorie Billard, Bessie Collier plus a large circle of many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 27th, 2018 from 2-4 pm at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. in Port aux Basques, NL. Visitation continuing on Monday, August 27th, 2018 from 7-9 pm and on Tuesday, August 28th, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at St. Michael & All Angels Anglican Church in Rose Blanche, NL from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 29th, 2018 at 2 pm officiated by The Rev. Jeffrey Petten with interment to follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Elizabeth’s memory can be made to the St. Michael & All Angel’s Anglican Church care of P.O. Box 190 Rose Blanche, NL A0M 1P0 or to a charity of one’s choice.
