It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Marie Anne Stewart (Whyte),age 65 years, of Ogema, SK on December 3, 2018 at the Regina General Hospital.
Marie was predeceased by her grandparents Watson & Annie Whyte, Cornelius & Jennie Verboom; father Clinton Kenneth Whyte; father and mother in law Harold & Olivia Stewart; and son in law Dean Culbert.
Marie will be forever missed by her loving husband of 47 years, Gordon; mother Doris; children Dawn (David), Jody (Geof), and David (Cherry); her grandchildren Kelsey, Colton, Noah-Dawn, Jonah, Joran, Brock, Alexander, Olivia, Johanna and Valentina; siblings Doreen (Terry) and Kenneth; special friends Jennie (Kristjan) Thordarson, Kerrie (Tim) Boyd, Rosemary Stewart, Leone Sherk, Gin and Dave Keeler; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A celebration of Marie’s life will be held on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Heritage Hall in Ogema, SK. Family and close friends are invited to a private interment at Amulet Cemetery, Amulet, SK. Donations in Marie’s name can be made to the Deep South Pioneer Museum in Ogema, SK.
A heartfelt thank you to the Pangman Health Center Emergency Medical Technicians, the surgical teams, SICU nurses and staff at the Regina General Hospital for their valiant efforts to keep her with us.
Marie is forever in the garden, looking after us all from afar.
