Forever missed & always remembered
The family of Margaret “Peggy” Stewart age 89 of Moncton announce her passing on Monday, December 3, 2018 at Golden Years Estate, Moncton NB.
Born in Charlottetown, PE, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Ethel (Peters) Aylward.
Peggy will be remembered for her baking and cooking talents, she enjoyed a good card game with many of her friends over the years. In her past time you would see Peggy knitting and crocheting lots of goodies for her family and friends. When it came to family it was something that Peggy held close to her heart.
Peggy will be missed by her daughter Sandy (Dennis Nelson) Cousins; 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; sister Judy Bingley; brother Michael (Fern) Aylward; many nieces and nephews, as well as the staff and residents
at the Golden Years Estate in Moncton NB.
Besides her parents, Peggy was predeceased by her beloved husband Pat Stewart (2003); daughter Patsy (Wendell) Hood (2013).
Following, Peggy’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial service held in PEI, August 2019.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St. Amherst, 902-667-9906.
We would like to thank Golden Years Estate, that became family and for their care and compassion.
Donations may be made in Peggy’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society or the ALS Society.
