Gilles Levac
Peacefully at the Centre d’hébergement de Rigaud on Wednesday, November 21, 2018. Gilles Levac of Dalhousie; age 92 years. Beloved husband of Yolande Levac (Léger). Loving father of Christine McDonell (Huntly) of Lancaster, Jean-François Levac of Gatineau, Stephane Levac (Laurie McKay) of Dalhousie, Nathalie (Marvin MacDonald) of Maxville and the late Joanne MacCuaig (late Artie). Predeceased by his parents Domina Levac and Emma Rousseau. Dear brother of Laurier Levac, the late Geoff Levac, the late Madeleine Levac and the late Marguerite Chenier. Caring grandfather of Jeffrey McDonell (Angie) and Darrell McDonell (Krista), Jason MacCuaig (Shannon) and Kristina MacNaughton (Eric), Dominique Levac (Kyria) and Stephanie Levac, Liam MacDonald and Daniel MacDonald; and proud of his eleven great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. Alexandria (613-525-2772). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, Glen Nevis on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 11 am. Followed by inurnment of cremated remains in the parish columbarium. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to Dan McKay/Joanne MacCuaig Memorial Golf Tournament would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Gilles a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows-memories live.
