Jeannette’s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the families of Jeannette Yvonne Collins nee Carter announce her sudden passing at her family residence on Thursday, November 15th, 2018, in Deer Lake, NL, at the age of 67 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her siblings; Gary (Betty) of Pasadena, Rowena (Gerald) Tardiff of New Brunswick, Wanda (Frank) Pearce of Howley, Lisa (Jeff) Tansley, of Deer Lake, and Lori Ann Carter of Calgary, AB, her nieces; Kelly, Vanessa, and Cathy, her nephews; Jordan George, Chris Pearce, Matthew Tansley, and Melvin, and great nieces; Nevaeh, and Sophia, great nephews; Ashton, and Thomas, her other family Cousin; Diane, special children whom she looked after; Sonya, Kim, Melanie, Diana, Patti, and their families. Also leaving to mourn Betty Turner whom she worked and cared for 27 years. Her Salvation Army League Ladies and many other relatives and friends. Jeannette was predeceased by her parents; Fred and Hilda Carter, sister; Annie George, and brother-in-law; John George.
Jeannette loved her family and her church always willing to lend a helping hand and to do her part, and a very loyal friend.
The family will be receiving family and friends at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Saturday, November 17th, 2018, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
The funeral service will take place on Sunday, November 18th, 2018 at 2:30 pm, at The Deer Lake Salvation Army Church with Majors Pond’s officiating with the burial to follow at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery, on Wight’s Road, Deer Lake, NL.
