Obituary of Oscar Weisberg
Weisberg, Oscar Clifford – Peacefully at home on Sunday November 11, 2018 in his 90th year.
Beloved husband of the late Lillian Weisberg (nee Rose) for 66 years. Loving father of Judith Maynard (Doug) of Peterborough, Pat Bowler (Bob) of Douro, Paul Weisberg of Peterborough and Bonnie Hickson (Gary [Deceased]) of Ennismore.
Dear grandfather of Candice, Nissa, Rob, Jeff and Marcy, Raven and Jay and Jennifer.
Great grandfather of Sabra, Tyler, Ashley, Olivia, Noah, Erin, Kaitryn, Chase and Lincoln.
Great great grandfather of Audrey and Kaia.
Brother of Harold Weisberg (Noreen) of Sherwood Park, AB. Elsie Frecon (Vital) of Redvers, SK
Oscar retired from General Electric after 43 years. He loved gardening, golf, bowling and spending time with his family.
Friends will be received at the Ashburnham Funeral Home 840 Armour Road, Peterborough on Wednesday November 14, 2018 for a visitation from 3:00-5:00 pm and 6:30-8:00 pm. A memorial service will take place on Thursday November 15, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Ashburnham Funeral Home Chapel.
At Oscar’s request donations to the Alzheimer’s Society in lieu of flowers would be appreciated in loving memory of his wife and mother.
