Obituary of Elinore Guest
Graduated as a Registered Nurse from the Oshawa General Hospital School of Nursing in 1954.
Born in Oshawa on August 3, 1933
and passed away on November 10, 2018,
at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg.
Elinore (nee Pierson), married the love of her life, Joe N. Guest in 1954, who passed away in 2015. Survived by her son Joe. W. Guest, daughter Beverly Jozkoski, loving daughter and caregivers, Patricia and Russ Gilbride, six grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Elinore worked over the years at Bowmanville and Oshawa Hospitals, Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge Health Unit, in schools and giving home care, and retired in 1979. She was a former Girl Guide and Brownie Leader, and a member of: the UCW, Bowmanville Retired Nurses Association, Red Hat Society, Tops, and a homemaker.
At Elinore’s request there will be no visitation or funeral. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Hampton United through NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. Bowmanville, with whom the arrangements have been entrusted.
