Peacefully at the Ottawa Queensway Carleton Hospital on Tuesday November 6, 2018 age 82 years. George Edward McLean of Finch. Beloved husband of Myrna (Ouderkirk) McLean. Loved father of Derryl McLean (Irene), Ray McLean and Donna McLean-Lee (Gerald) all of Finch. Dear brother of Marion Moore (Harold) of Williamsburg. Sadly missed by 3 grandchildren Kristen, Ray, Shelby and by 5 great grandchildren Natalie, Jeremy, Everley, Liam and River. Predeceased by his parents Bernard and Georgina (Meldrum) McLean; one brother Jack McLean; one grandchild Jasmine and one great grandchild Lily. To honour Mr. McLean’s wishes, cremation has taken place. [A SERVICE IN CELEBRATION OF GEORGE MCLEAN’S LIFE WILL BE HELD IN CHALMERS UNITED CHURCH FINCH ON SATURDAY NOVEMBER 17, 2018 AT 11AM.]. Reverend Lois Gaudet officiating. Following the service the family will be greeting friends and relatives at the Finch Legion for a luncheon.
