WOOD, Genelda Mary (nee Bushroe)
With saddened hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Genelda Wood, known as Jenny by her family and friends, on November 2nd, 2018. Reunited with her late husband Robert Leslie Wood (Bobby). Devoted Mother to sons Guy (Stephanie), Robert (Lynn), and Matthew Wood. Loving Mimi to Robby, Brian (Lindsay), Stephanie (Charles) and three great grandchildren.
Jenny was a proud Avon Representative for 30 years, known in the city of Windsor’s West End as the “Avon Lady”.
Jenny enjoyed a life of family and friends whose priority was giving back to the community. Jenny was full of life, and a positive person that spread love and generosity wherever she went. She will be missed by all that loved her.
A special thank you to all the wonderful and caring people at Richmond Terrace, where Jenny resided for the last five years, keeping the staff entertained by sharing many life stories, including the famous Dagwood Diner which was her first employment.
Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to JAMES H. SUTTON FUNERAL HOME, 401 Sandwich St. S., Amherstburg (519-736-2134). In kindness, memorial donations may be made to the Windsor Mission.
