Obituary of MaryAnn Martin
Peacefully passed into the presence of the Lord on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Chartwell Elmira LTC, at the age of 91 years. Beloved and devoted wife of Edgar B. Martin for 72 years. Dear mother of David and Connie Martin, Betty and Don Clemmer. Loving grandma of Terry (Laura) Martin, Kris (Natalie) Martin, Chad (Nicole) Clemmer, Theresa (Shawn) Freeman, Sherrin (Marv) Gingrich, and 18 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Anna Martin and sister-in-law Mary Weber. Predeceased by her parents Emanuel and Annie (Frey) Weber, stepfather Henry Bauman, grandson Jeff Clemmer (2000), brothers Irvin (Lydia) Weber, Clarence (Delphine) Weber, Cleason Weber, sisters Matilda (Ivan) Gingrich, Barbara (Amsey Martin and Manassa Weber), Hannah (Moses) Martin, brother-in-law Emerson Martin, stepsisters Mary (Amon) Martin, and Elvina (Edwin) Lichty. The family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Woodside Bible Fellowship, 200 Barnswallow Dr., Elmira. Interment will take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 4, 2018 in Elmira Union Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. at Woodside.The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the amazing, compassionate staff at Chartwell Elmira. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Woodside Bible Fellowship or Chateau Gardens Auxiliary would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira.
