Duane MacRae, born in Empress, Alberta on August 13, 1931, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 25, 2018 surrounded by family. Duane was predeceased by his loving wife Grace in 1985. He is survived by his two daughters and their spouses: Brenda and Dale Ham, and Sandra and Rick Beaupre along with his four grandchildren: Chris and Jenna Ham, and Matthew and Elise Beaupre. Duane is also survived by his sister Gloria MacRae of St. Paul, MN.
A Funeral Service will be held at Highwood Lutheran Church, (419 Northmount Drive NW, Calgary) on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with a reception to follow. Interment will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Mountain View Memorial Gardens (1515—100 Street SE, Calgary). If friends desire, donations may be made in Duane’s name to either the Highwood Lutheran Church, 419 Northmount Drive NW, Calgary, AB T2K 3H7 or to The Salvation Army, Territorial Headquarters, 2 Overlea Blvd. Toronto, ON M4H 1P4 (www.salvationarmy.ca).
