Henrietta Noel (Andrews)
After living a full and joyful life, our mother, Henrietta Janet (Andrews) Noel passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018, in her 89th year. She is predeceased by her husband, Reuben James (2002); parents, Montrose and Dora Andrews; brothers, Warren, Eric, and Archie. Left to carry on her legacy of hardwork and laughter, and to celebrate her life are her children, Barbara (John) Drover, Gary (Sheldon), Rodney (Natalie), Peggy (Bob) Baker, Rick (Claudette), Deborah Noel, and Gerald (Judy); eight grandchildren, Jeff (Maddie), Erin (Milan), Stephanie (Terry), Heather, Kelly (Erica), Holly (Nick), Lucas (Sheena), and Emily (Chris); nine great-grandchildren, Ally, August, Reid, Brooklynn, Rowan, Jack, Riley, Maddie, and Ricki; her siblings, Lorenzo (Huguette) Andrews, Louise (Ced) Saunders, Violet Payne, Sadie (Jim) Thompson, Bertha Spencer, Ralph (Louise) Andrews, Patricia (Andy) Earle, Pauline (Art) Rowsell, and Doug (Patricia) Andrews; sister-in-law, Dorothy Andrews; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, Mount Pearl on Saturday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., then at Noel’s Funeral Home, Carbonear on Sunday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, October 29 at 1:00 p.m. from the United Church, Freshwater, Carbonear. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear. As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
