Obituary of Frank Spinney
Frank Eugene Spinney, 82 of White Rock passed away on Oct 21, 2018 in the Valley Regional Hospital. He was the son of the late Emery and Bessie (Schofield) Spinney of Black River.
Frank was a hardworking man; his career was working as a heavy equipment operator. He specialized in the operation of the bulldozer. On October 21, 1954 he married the love of his life, Jean. They had many happy years together raising their family and creating great memories.
Frank is survived by his loving wife Jean (Millett); son Brian Spinney (NFLD); daughter Debora (Jeffery) England of Black River; brothers Harland of Black River; Eldon of Ontario; Blake of Sunken Lake; grandchildren Nick Spinney of New Brunswick; Jackie Blades of Alberta; Andrew England of Wolfville; Ashlee McQuaig of Alberta; Ariel England of Alberta and six great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, Frank was predeceased by brothers Gerald, Franzell and Leo Spinney; sisters Florence Benjermin, Renna Keating, Vilda Morrisey, Ann Woodworth and Sandra Forsythe.
Family and friends are welcome to attended a Celebration of Frank’s life will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Black River Community Hall. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4P 1B9 (902-679-2822).
