1951-2018
Rhéal Richard, 67, of Saint-Antoine and formerly of Notre-Dame,
passed away peacefully, at the UHC Dr Geoges L. Dumont, Moncton on
Sunday October 21, 2018. He was married to the late Rita Cormier
(2011). Born in Acadieville, he was the son of the late Médard
and the late Bertha (Richard) Richard.
He will be sadly missed by his daughter Lisa Richard (Marc) of
Notre-Dame, his son Steven (Melissa) of Notre-Dame and a foster
daughter, Terry-Ann Smith of Saint-Rémi, QC as well as his four
grandchildren; Caitlyn, Cory, Christopher and Erika. He also leaves
to mourn three sisters, Rose-Eva Richard, Hélèna Maillet
(André) of Cocagne, Fernande Allain (Louis) of Webster, MA,
three brothers; Florent (Denise) of Saint-Edouard-de-Kent, Jimmy
(Diane) of Bouctouche Bay, Normand (Rita) of Saint-Antoine as well as
several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by one son Rhéal Jr. (1974).
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine l’Ermite Roman
Catholic Church Slumber Room, Saint-Antoine on Thursday October 25,
2018 from 7 to 9 and on Friday from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. A
funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Antoine Church on Friday
October 26, 2018 at 7:00 pm with interment in the parish
cemetery.
In Rhéal’s memory, donations may be made to the CHUDUMONT
Foundation.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
