Thérèse Marie Caissie
Thérèse Marie Caissie, 90, of
Moncton, with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at
The Moncton Hospital on Monday, October 15, 2018. Born in Parkton, she
was the daughter of the late Pierre and Ida (Gallant)
Surette.
Thérèse was a member of The
Moncton Lions Club and a volunteer with the Karing Kitchen. She
enjoyed her sports weekends with the CNIB, playing bingo and spending
time with her family.
Thérèse will be sadly missed by
her children, Diane Traverse (Bill) of Truro, NS, Cécile
Hester (Bill) of Hampton, Yvette Belliveau (late Louis) of Moncton,
Edgar Caissie (Audrey) of Salisbury, Barbara Haché (Roger)
of Moncton, Mike Caissie (April) of Colpitts Settlement and Lucille
Caissie (granddaughter, Emma Therese Marie Caissie) of Moncton;
grandchildren, Tammy, Christina, Amanda, Rachel, Nicole, Carl,
Christopher, Daniel, Luc, Dustin, Jordan, Patrick, Sonny-Leo and Emma;
11 great grandchildren; sisters, Rita LeBlanc, Cecile Caissie and
Annette Steeves (Jack); brother, Omer Surette (Stella); several nieces
and nephews.
In addition
to her parents, she was predeceased by her common-law husband, Simon
MacIntyre; son-in-law, Louis; daughter-in-law, Brenda; great
granddaughter, Hannah and brothers, Leo and
Sylvain.
Visitation
at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on
Thursday October 18, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A
Service to celebrate and honour
Thérèse’s life will be held at
Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 1:00 pm.
Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service.
Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery,
Dieppe.
