Darrell “Dag Seymour 19382018

It is with great sadness that we announce the
passing of Darrell Seymour of Estey’s Bridge and formerly of
Devon on October 14th, 2018. Born in
McLeod Hill, he was a son of the late Ralph and Myrtle (McCrea)
Seymour.
Dag loved hockey, baseball and golf.
He was recently inducted into the Fredericton Sports Wall of Fame, for
all his years of dedication in the local sporting community.
Self employed for many years. He could be seen in his truck
around Fredericton, selling his goods to local
stores.
Dag will be deeply missed by his wife of 60
years Evelyn (Coy) Seymour, their children; Jane (Dean Rempel) of
Abbotsford BC, Barry (Wendy) of Worcester MA and Mark (Joanne) of
Devon, 4 grandchildren; Jenna, Kelsey, Devon (Bethany) and Laura, a
brother Billy Seymour, brother-in-law Larry Coy (Kaye) and
sister-in-law Marilyn Seymour as well as several cousins’
nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Paul
Seymour.
Visitation will be held on Friday October 19,
2018 from 12 Noon to 1:30 PM From St. Mary’s Anglican
Church, 770 McEvoy Street. A celebration of life will be held at the
St. Mary’s Anglican Church at 2 PM with Rev. Canon Kevin
Stockhall officiating. Interment will be in St.
Mary’s Anglican Cemetery, immediately followed by a
reception in the Church Hall
For those who wish, memorial donations may be
made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
