Carl William Parsons of Plaster Rock, NB, passed away quietly at home
Friday, October 5, 2018.
Carl was born in Plaster Rock on January 11, 1928. He was the son of
William (Bill) and Lillian (Bowser) Parsons. He is survived by his
wife of 65 years Gene Parsons (Jensen); daughters Deborah Giberson
(Terry) of Bathurst NB, and Jenifer Hambrook (Jeffery) of Blackville
NB; his grandchildren Emily Legacy (Marc) of Bathurst, John Giberson
(Leigh) of Quispamsis, Daniel Hambrook of Ottawa and Benjamin Hambrook
of Fredericton; and his sister Shirley Yeomans of Plaster Rock,
NB.
Carl was predeceased by his parents, his sisters Irene Corbin and
Donna Hughes; and brothers Ivan and Malcolm (Max) Parsons.
Carl was a devoted family man who readily gave his time and energy to
helping everyone within his immediate and extended family, and friends
around Plaster Rock. He worked as a barber in Plaster Rock for 68
years before retiring in 2014. Besides his love of family and
commitment to work, Carl enjoyed music, dancing, fishing, carpentry
and camping.
