Shirley Marguerite Riley
Born December 30, 1925. Passed away in hospital on Monday, July 30, 2018, Shirley Riley of Nepean (formally of Windsor). Beloved wife of Jack Riley (1992). Dear mother of Mary Kay Kereluik (Norman) of Willingdon, Alberta, Dr. Charles Riley (Pam) of Fonthill and Joanne Riley of Nepean. Loving grandmother of Dr. Robert Riley (Ainsley) of Fenwick, and Dr. Crystal Riley (Derek Landschoot) of Chatham. Cherished great grandmother of Ashley. Shirley is also survived by sister-in-law Donna Elliott (Dr. Joseph Elliott) of Michigan as well as several nieces and nephews. Shirley was predeceased by her parents, Marguerite and Orval Adams, brother Bill Adams and sister Marianne Elliott. Shirley was devoted to her family and enjoyed activities that centred around family, visits to the cottage at Georgian Bay, the farm in Willingdon and Christmases at Montebello. She loved all the family dogs. Shirley was an excellent cook and creative and skillful with her many crafts. She was an active member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Morris Sutton Funeral Home, 68 Giles Blvd. E. Windsor 519-254-8633, from 11:00am until the time of Memorial Service at 12:00pm, in the Morris Sutton Chapel. Inurnment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens. If you so desire, memorial donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Ottawa Humane Society.
