Lawrence Burchell
Peacefully at the Wellington House Nursing Home in Prescott, on Monday, September 17, 2018 at the age of 96. Dearly beloved husband of Dorothy Burchell (nee Sloan). Loving father of George (Nina), Robert (Janice) all of RR5 Spencerville, Lynda (Brian) Gunnell of Russell, Laura (John) Wilson) of Maitland, Lisa (Dale) McTaggart of Sarnia and Lana (Chris) Haw of Stirling. Predeceased by his parents George and Claudine Burchell, his brother Bill and by his sisters Sarah Sloan and Gertrude Claire. Sadly missed by 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
Friends may call at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Cardinal on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, September 21 at 11am. Donations to the Wellington House, Kidney Foundation or St. Paul’s Anglican Church would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com.
