Obituary Overview
Darlene Mary Doerksen
After a courageous battle with cancer that spanned over 10 years Darlene with family by her side passed away at St. Boniface Hospital on September 9, 2018 at 55 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her four children Travis (Tesslyn), Tracy (Andrew), Candace (Brett), and Tim (Anna) along with 11 grandchildren. Affectionately known as Grandma Dee she will be sorely missed by Carter, Natalya, Myelle, Chloe, Theodore, Hudson, Sophia, Piper, Lucas, Olivia, and Abigail.
Darlene was born November 27, 1962 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She is survived by her parents Jacob and Mary Friesen of New Bothwell and two siblings Dianne (Peter) and Darryl (Lisa) and their children.
Darlene was an inspiration to all who knew her, you never heard her complain, instead “It is what it is” became her motto and she lived life to the fullest.
We praise God for the time we were given and we cherish every minute.

Darlene’s children would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the family and friends who walked with Darlene through this long difficult journey. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
