Clara Duval (Bourbonnais)
At the Prescott-Russell Nursing Home, Hawkesbury on Saturday, September 1, 2018. Marie Clara Duval (nee Bourbonnais) of Vankleek Hill; age 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Omer Duval. Loving mother of Eva Lepage (Gérald) of Vankleek Hill, Lorraine Villeneuve (Robert) of Dunvegan, Gaston Duval (Lorraine) of St. Bernardin, Lucienne Montpetit (Bernard) of St. Isidore, Diane Duval (Mario Peladeau) of Hawkesbury, and Henri Duval (Wanda) of L’Orignal. Predeceased by one son Raymond Duval, by 4 brothers Omer, Henri, Léo and George, by 4 sisters Eva, Noella, Emma, and Rita, and by her parents Arthur and Margaret Bourbonnais (nee Cutt). Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 4 great great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Prescott Russell Nursing Home, Hawkesbury for the exceptional care given to Clara. Visitation will be held at the Hillcrest Funeral Home 151 Bond St., Vankleek Hill on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from 9am – 12:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Grégoire Catholic Church, Vankleek Hill on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 1pm. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South, Maxville (613-527-2898). As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
