Peacefully at Maple Manor Nursing Home in Tillsonburg on Tuesday Aug 28th, 2018. Alice Ester (Pat) Emmons of Tillsonburg at the age of 100. Wife of the late Fred Emmons.
Born June 20th, 1918 in Toronto, a resident of Tillsonburg since 1958.
Survived by a son Edward (Joi Montpellier) and a daughter Jacquie Oatman and her husband Darwin Kent and their daughters Carrie Taylor and her children Scotia (Matt Vick), Maverick and Canyon and Krystal West (Michael) and their children Marshall and Lainey
Also survived by a sister Mary Hallett.
Pat was an Airframe Mechanic in WW 11, a member to the Tillsonburg Legion Br 153, a Volunteer at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital. Pat was the Head Cashier at Steve’s E& M Grocery Store and Manager of the Glen-Mur Drive In.
Memorial donations to the The Palliative Care unit at Maple Manor, Oxford Alzheimer’s Assoc or the charity of your choice may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
Cremation has taken place, a private family service will be held at a later date.
Inurnment at the family plot in Lovett
