It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle, Aiden Critch. He passed peacefully away at the Agnes Pratt Home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, August 10th, 2018, at the age of 84. We were blessed to have his kind hearted and easygoing soul in our lives. His presence will be missed. Predeceased by his beloved wife Madonna; grandson Tyler; parents Patrick and Louisa; sisters Evelyn and Matilda; brothers: Hubert, Moses, Hilary and Anthony; and mother-in-law Mary Whelan. Leaving with loving memories his children: Shawn, Louise (Austin), Colleen (Clarence), Stephen (Rayla) and Lisa (Bruce); grandchildren: Jenelle, Alyssa, Noah, Justin, Darrien, Drew, Sophia, Audrey and Ryan; great-grandson Gavin; siblings: Mary Ellen Tobin, Felix (Mary), Arnold (Lidwina) and Gabe (Helena); sisters-in-law Elizabeth Lewis and Imelda Critch; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. We would like to give special thanks to the staff of Agnes Pratt Home who cared for dad since 2015 until his final days. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. The family will receive visitors on Monday, August 13th, 2018 from 7 – 9 p.m, and Tuesday, August 14th, 2018 from 2 – 4 p.m and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 15th, 2018 from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist at 11 a.m, with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted, or donations in Aiden’s memory may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society or The Alzheimer’s Society.
