Marg Evans
It is with deep sadness that the family of Marg announces her passing on August 8, 2018 at St. Paul’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Marg is survived by her children, Terry (Mary) Evans, Colleen Johnson, Don (Linda) Evans; grandchildren, Mistie Evans (Mike Wirl), Brian Evans (Megan Mandel), Monica Evans (Justin Rickard), Stefanie (Travis) Bartley, Courtney Johnson (Keith Richardson), Josh Evans (Kimberly MacKay), Katrina Evans (Lindsay Tietz) and Lisa Evans (Richard Contreras); great-grandchildren, Lily Slingluff-Evans, Maddox and Daxton Bartley, Treyton and Tyson Tietz; brothers-in law and sisters-in law, Cy Evans, Geoff (Phyllis) Evans and Mable Evans, all of Saskatoon; and many nieces and nephews. She had many close friends including special friend, Adele Kuss. Marg was predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years, Bob in 2010; her mother, Peggy Lepage and her husband, Harold Lepage; her brother, George; and sister-in-law, Elaine Evans. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and enjoyed having her family around her. She enjoyed her coffee time at Market Mall with her special friends. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. Special thanks to the caring and compassionate people at Lynne’s Care Home for their care and dedication to Margaret in her last months. Also, the caring doctors and nurses at St. Paul’s Hospital. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Saskatoon Firefighters Burn Fund.
