Marjorie passed away peacefully at Saanich Peninsula Hospital. Born Marjorie Yeats in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, U.K., and married Ronald Hall in 1950. Her working life was spent with Lloyds Bank, as was Ronald’s.
As a retirement adventure, Marjorie and Ronald immigrated from Bristol to Canada in 1984 to be near their young grandchildren. Pre-deceased by Ronald in 1993.
Missed by daughter Veronica Cross (Bill), grandchildren Tim McPherson (Becky), Tamzin Sealey (Christian), Tuffy McPherson (Angela) and Katinki Johnson (Matt); Marjorie was also “Grammy-Gram” to great-grandchildren Tyler, Brendon, Esme, Spencer and Baby Johnson. Also remembered by her step-family Cross.
A family celebration will be held at a later date. Many thanks to the staff at Saanich Peninsula Hospital Extended Care for the excellent care during the last few years. Condolences may be offered to the family below.
