Sandra Ann Stairs
Sandra Ann Stairs – 76, of Dartmouth, passed away peacefully Friday, July 27, 2018 at Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Lowe) Sheffield. Sandra was employed in many different administrative roles in the retail and insurance businesses. She and her husband Frank were superintendents for numerous apartment buildings. Later in life she enjoyed staying at home crafting, staying in touch with family and friends on social media and enjoying her pets. She is survived by her husband Frank Stairs, Dartmouth; son Chris Bickerton, Dartmouth; sister, Jackie Sheffield, Kempt Shore; grandchildren, Emma and Morgan Bickerton, Kamloops BC. She is also survived by her three nephews, Trevor MacEachern and Nicholas and Nathan Hiltz. She was predeceased by her first husband Allan Bickerton. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service at Burgess Cemetery, followed by a celebration of life, will be held at Canard Community Church, Upper Canard, Kings County at a later date.
