November 12, 1929 – July 28, 2018
Passed away peacefully at ARCH on July 28, 2018, in his eighty-ninth year. Beloved Husband of the late June for 62 years. Loving father to Brent (Cathy Ballantyne) of Parry Sound, Ontario. Dear son of the late William and Christina Osborne. Dear brother to Frances Hurley ( Burt ) of Sault Ste. Marie, the late Janet Smith ( late Clifford ), Angus Osborne ( late Doris ), Margaret Martineau ( late Garnet ) and Charles Osborne ( late Gennie ). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Beggs Funeral Home, Thessalon on Wednesday August 1, 2018 from 3pm until time of memorial service in the chapel at 4pm with The Reverend Erasmus Madimbu officiating. Private interment in Cloudlsee Cemetery at a later date. Donations to ARCH or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 211, Bruce Mines are requested to assemble at the funeral home on Wednesday August 1, 2018 at 3:45pm for a memorial service for their late Comrade Mitch Osborne.
