Gladys Bogner
Gladys Bogner passed away at Samaritan Place at the age of 93 years. She was the loving mother to: Barry (Karen) Bogner of Saskatoon, Daryl (Diane) Bogner of Christopher Lake, Terry Bogner of Saskatoon, Cornel Bogner of Saskatoon and Vicki Lawrence (Don Flynn) of Calgary. She will also be dearly missed by her 5 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Leroy Bogner.
Gladys was born in Woodrow, SK. She took her grade 12 in Saskatoon after which she worked at the Bank of Commerce. She went on to become a farm wife and kept busy raising 5 children. In Dinsmore, SK. she was involved with the United Church, was a Brown Owl with the Brownies, and was involved in organizing the Ice Carnival in which her daughter, Vicki, was a participant. Gladys and Leroy moved to Rosetown in 1984 and then in 2001, they moved to Sherry Place in Saskatoon. Gladys was an artist, world traveler and wonderful mother.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home (east on 8th St; first right past Briargate Rd.) Memorial donations in Gladys’ honour may be made directly to Samaritan Place.
