He will be Forever Loved
Billie Joe (Bill) Berry beloved husband of Dayling Berry of Langdon, AB passed at home on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the age of 43 years.
Billie was born in Springhill, Nova Scotia to his parents Mary Coulter (Berry) and William (Bill) Berry. Billie lived most of his life in Calgary, AB. Billie graduated from SAIT as a Petroleum Engineering Technologist, and worked the last 20 years in the industry. Billie also obtained his Interprovincial Automotive Technicians license and opened My Mechanic Calgary, his mobile mechanics business. Billie had a passion for off-roading. He designed and customized his Jeep “Rock Crawler” and helped others in the Jeep Club do the same. Billie was an avid reader and collector of books, and loved camping and hiking with his family and friends. He achieved his Black Belt in Hapkido at the age of 11 at Yoon’s Martial Arts School, where he was still involved with his children today. Billie also practiced Jujitsu with his children.
Billie was the loving father of Logan and Jesse Berry, Pink, Pearl, Shannia and Kurt Cabahug. He will also be lovingly remembered by his mother Mary Coulter and step-father Terry Coulter, his father Bill Berry Sr. his step mother Leone Berry uncle John (Samantha) Rossong, aunts Dorothy Rossong and Molly M, his half-sister Cindy and Lisa (Berry) and numerous aunts uncles and cousins.
To Billie, nothing meant more to him than his family, he will be forever loved and missed by all.
A Funeral Service will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home, (Prairie View Chapel, 1605 – 100 Street SE, Calgary) on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Cremation to follow. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to the Canadian Mental Health Association (Calgary) #105, 1040 – 7 Avenue S.W., Calgary, AB T2P 3G9.
