Rae Roberts
March 1991 – June 2018
Rae was named for her great-Baba Rose, with whom she shared a flair for the unconventional. After graduating with a degree in Fine Arts, Rae, fuelled by her talent, drive and considerable charm, landed jobs in the movie business in Los Angeles, most recently at a horror film production company, where her childhood dream came true. Rae is survived by her sister, Ada, along with cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, friends and her parents, Marisa Pollock and Rob Roberts. The Funeral will take place at Benjamin’s Memorial Funeral Chapel (2401 Steeles Ave. West) this Sunday at 11:30 am.
Donations can be made in Rae’s honour to Women’s College Hospital Foundation at wchf.ca/or by calling 416-323-6323. The family requests that donors designate their gifts to Women’s Mental Health Research at WCH.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Rae Roberts Tuesday June 26 2018.source
Death notice for the town of: Toronto, Province: Ontario
Rae was such a light and a talent. As her screenwriting instructor, I learned as much from her as I taught her. Holding you in love and light. Please reach out if there is any way I can help.
Rae was such a kind person. I met with her several times for general meetings in Los Angeles, and she had such a unique and beautiful creative mind. Onward to this creative genius. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
She was my classmate. For some reason she always stuck in my mind. She was incredibly driven and impressed me at every turn.
I’m devastated to find, years later, that she has passed. She will be remembered.
