At the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital on Friday June 29, 2018, Derek Strauss passed away at the age of 60.
beloved husband of Joanna (nee Szturycz) and loved father of Alex of Toronto and Ada (fiancee Thomas Sardelic) of Sydney, Australia. Much loved son of Tadeusz and Irmina Tarkowski and brother of Anna Tarkowski, all of Toronto. Derek will be missed by his brother in law Anatol Szturycz (Jolanta) of Mississauga, his nephew and nieces Arthur, Alexandra and Julia, cousin Richard Bakinowski of Poland and the extended Sardelic family.
Mr. Strauss rested at the Whattam Funeral Home, 33 Main St., Picton, ON. Memorial Service in the Chapel on Saturday July 7 at 2 pm. following cremation.
