After a short illness Jozsef Gecseg died peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Saturday June 9, 2018 at age 91. Born in Felsorajk, Hungary, immigrating to Canada March 25, 1957 and setting up residence in British Columbia and Alberta. Longtime employee of CP Rail, and business owner of Bluebird Janitorial in Calgary. Survived by one sister, Erzsebet Gecseg (Sandorne Bekefi), also survived by Daughters, Klara Basile (Aurelio), Agnes Murphy, son, David Gecseg and adopted son Joseph Gecseg. Cremation has taken place. Remains to be buried in Poloske, Zala Megye, Hungary. Mass to be held at St. Stephen of Hungary Roman Catholic Church. (St. Patrick R.C. Church) 377 Oakland Ave., London Ontario, on 7 July 2018, at 11:00 am, by Fr. Nicholas Deak. Memorial donations in Jozsef’s memory to St. Stephen-of Hungary Roman Catholic Church.
