Obituary of Reginald Ellerton
Ellerton, Reginald (Reg) – We are saddened to announce the passing of Reg on June 27, 2018 at his home in Vineland, Ontario surrounded by his favourite girls. Reg was born May 5, 1937 in Regina, Saskatchewan and passed away in his 82nd year, the third son in a family of four boys. Predeceased by his parents Leonard and Ruth, and his siblings Donald, Sonny and Vern. Husband and best friend to Sherrin, loving father to Melanie (Ryan) and Susan (David) and treasured grandpa to David, Megan, Aidan, Nolan and Emily.
Reg treasured his friendships over the years and his neighbours in Cherry Hill. Reg was a born salesman and enjoyed the challenge of selling. Reg’s love for his family was strong and he was very proud of all their accomplishments. He was fond of dry martinis (3 olives), a good single malt scotch, reading and politics.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation one hour prior to the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Tallman Funeral Home in Vineland on Saturday, July 7, 2018 followed by a memorial reception at the Cherry Hill Clubhouse. In lieu of flowers, donations to Erindale Presbyterian Church, 1560 Dundas St. W., Mississauga, L5C 1E5 or the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
