1955-2018
Mary Ellen Mackinnon of Riverview passed away peacefully on
June 16, 2018 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, she was the
daughter of the late Willis and Ruth (Wood) Wilson.
Mary Ellen had a true passion for decorating especially with
flowers., she was known for her wonderful sense of humor and loved to
socialize and entertain at various functions and gatherings. She
worked in the financial department with several local auto motive
companies and with the School Board at District 15. Mary Ellen was an
active member of St. Paul’s United Church and a member of
the choir.
She will be dearly missed by her loving husband, Robert;
sisters, Anna Banks (Bob) of Riverview and Janet Ward (Jeffrey) of
Halifax; sister in law, Roberta McCabe (Richard) of Oromocto; god
children, Anna Dixon and Savannah McCabe; niece, Jennifer McCabe,
nephews, Evan Ward, Mitchell Ward and Ian McCabe.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd.,
Riverview (869-2007) on Wednesday, June 20th,
2018 from 6:00 – 8:30pm. A service celebrating Mary
Ellen’s life will take place at 1:30pm on Thursday, June 21,
2018 from St. Paul’s United Church 404 Cleveland Ave,
Riverview. Flowers are graciously appreciated, donations made to St.
Paul’s United Church or The Canadian Cancer Society would be
appreciated by the family. Online condolences may be expressed at
