Susan “Sue” Marguerite McPhee
It is with deep sorrow that the family of Susan “Sue” Marguerite McPhee, announces her sudden passing on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at the age of 67 years.
Sue was born in 1951 in Springfield, Illinois, to Loren and Beatrice Smith. Sue attended Cliff Mann Floral School and Moody Bible Institute. She married Ian McPhee in 1977 and moved to smith, AB in 1987. She worked as a florist and also as an Educational Assistant at Robert W. Zahara Public School from 1988-2018.
Sue will be lovingly remembered by her father Loren Smith; brother Loren (Stephanie) Smith Jr.; mother in-law Margaret McPhee; brother in-law Gordon (Rolanda) McPhee; children: Heather (Keith) Ochoga, and David (Janna) McPhee; and her four grandchildren: Hudson, Hope, Liberty, and Cherish McPhee. Sue will also be missed and remembered by extended family, colleagues, and dear friends.
A Viewing will be held Friday, June 8, 2018, from 6:30-8:00pm at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at 11:00am at Grace Bible Fellowship Church in smith, AB (9515 93 St.).
Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Sue McPhee to Peace River Bible Institute (www.prbi.edu/Donate P.O. Box 99, smith, AB, T0H 3C0).
