Obituary for
Allan Leslie
Allan Charles Campbell Leslie
65, of Boutilier’s Point, Nova Scotia, passed suddenly at home on Monday, May 14, 2018, while recovering from heart surgery. Born in Montreal he was the son of the late Colin and Elsa (Klatt) Leslie. Survived by daughter Megan Elizabeth Leslie (Matthew Smart) and spouse Shannon Gough. Predeceased by his wife, Susan (Paquin). Allan was a true adventurer with a passion for travel, his houseboat (built with his own hands), motorcycling, skiing, and whitewater kayaking. He was well known for his Hawaiian shirts, home brew, frugal nature, and sense of humour. Allan lived life to the fullest and his bucket list was bottomless. Allan was a professional Firefighter in Montreal and a volunteer Firefighter at Black Point Fire Hall. He started his own business Polaris Fire & Safety in the early 1980s and it thrived for more than 25 years. A celebration of life is being planned.
