CHUTE Debra Cheryl —

CHUTE, Debra Cheryl

It is with great sadness we announce the very sudden passing of Deb Chute on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the age of 57. She is survived by her loving husband Ken; son Cole (Courtney) Vasko of Kelowna, daughter Chelsey (Mike) Wilson of Kelowna, stepson Cory Chute of Edmonton, stepdaughter Crystal (Chris) Dodds of Kamloops and stepdaughter Chessa Chute of Vancouver; grandchildren Carter, Josh, Hunter, Charlie, Colby, Riley, Holden, Mazy, Diem and Jace; parents Harvey and Marion Friesen of Kelowna; sisters Joan (Cam) Zaremba of Prince George, BC and Bonnie (Kevin) Olson of Kelowna; and numerous nieces and nephews. Deb is predeceased by her brother Jeff Friesen and nephew Ronnie.
Deb was full of laughter, full of life, but most of all, full of love. She couldn’t enter a room without leaving an impression and leaving those around her smiling. Her personality was the perfect combination of intelligence and understanding with the right amount of sarcasm and wit. She knew how to love everyone with unconditional acceptance and always had the right thing to say, even if it was sassy. She loved fiercely and will be missed dearly by all.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 4:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna.
Because of her passion for working with children, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a children’s charity of your choice. If you wish to send a condolence, post photos or share a memory, please scroll down the page to the area called “Share Your Condolences.”
