Chris Smith
Smith, Chris – Passed away suddenly on April 30, 2018 at the age of 30. Beloved son of Darwin Smith and Erika Racine. He will be missed by his girlfriend, Brittany Clayton. Chris is survived by his siblings Chrissy (Paul) Bernhardt, Heather Francis, Scott (Sindy) Carson, Kerrie Carson, Shane Smith and Stephanie Smith (Sean Knight). Adored uncle of Jayden and Connor Bernhardt and Bowen Carson. Much loved grandson of Harry and Barbara Dusomos, and Ronald and Mary Smith. Cat Dad of Cromwell. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. The family takes comfort in knowing that Chris was able to give the gift of life through organ donation. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Kempville Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 805 Prescott St., Kemptville on Saturday, May 5 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, May 7 at 11 o’clock. Interment at South Gower Cemetery. Donations in Chris’ memory may be made to the Kemptville Youth Centre.

RIP Chris, I only knew you for a few years as your supervisor and you were far too young for this to happen. I remember you taking the time to spend some time with a fellow work colleague who was battling and lost to cancer. I have not forgotten that.
I remember defending you when my superior attempted to railroad you. I have not forgotten that either.
