Obituary for Mr. Thomas ‘Tom’ Postlethwaite
Postlethwaite, Tom
Member of the Royal Canadian Navy for 32 years.
Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Monday April 30, 2018 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Betty Postlethwaite. Dear father of Karen Bradley (Steve), and Nancy McPherson (Don). Survived by brother Robert Postlethwaite (Elaine) and sisters Nora Lejeune (Lindsay) and Marge Gill (late Bunny). Dear companion of Loretta McNeil. Proud Poppa of Shawn, Kelcy, Royce, Ty and great Poppa of Oscar. Sadly missed by other dear family members and friends. Guests will be received at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd. in Barrie for a celebration of life gathering on Tuesday May 8, from 12 pm until 3 pm. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic cemetery in Barrie. If desired donations in Tom’s memory may be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation and are greatly appreciated.
