ATKINSON, Margaret – Passed away peacefully at Hillsdale Estates, on April 27, 2018 in her 98th year. Loved daughter of the late James Lees Johnson and Chrissie Eva (Thorpe) Johnson. Predeceased by her beloved husband Lorne and brothers Leonard, Vernon, and James Johnson. She will be missed by children Virginia Campbell, Douglas (Ann) Atkinson, Lorna Inkpen, Audrey (George) Taylor and Glenn (Tina) Atkinson; Grandchildren Anthony, Andrew, Maureen, Timothy, Kathleen, Trenton, Adam, Chad, Chase, Lindley; Great Grandchildren Christopher, Sean, David, Hannah, Samantha, Rylind, Phoenix, Ryan, Rachel, Oscar, Tucker, Memphis and Pippa; Great Great Grandchild Joey Lynne.
Visitation will be held from W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby (905-668-3410 ), on Tuesday May 1, 2018 from 6 – 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from W.C. Town Funeral Chapel on Wednesday May 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Groveside Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
